Eliminating Operator Error
Most monitoring failures aren't sensor failures. They're the moment a patient decides not to put the device back on.

In every remote monitoring pilot we've studied, the first-order failure mode is the same: the patient stops wearing the thing. Not because it doesn't work. Because it's a strap, or a patch, or a chest belt, or a pendant, or a wristband that doesn't fit their life — and one morning they simply leave it on the nightstand.
Every device that requires a decision to put on is a device that will eventually not be put on. That's not a criticism of patients. That's how humans work.

The industry calls it operator error when a monitoring plan fails because the device wasn't worn correctly. That framing puts the responsibility on the patient. It's more accurate to call it design error: the device demanded more of the patient than the patient could reasonably give.
Eliminate the setup. Eliminate the charging ritual. Eliminate the small daily decisions. What's left is a shirt, and a care team that can see continuously.
What this looks like in practice
For a veteran managing heart failure at home, that's the difference between a monitoring plan that produces three weeks of data and one that produces three days. For a family caring for an aging parent, it's the difference between peace of mind and another thing to nag about. And for a clinician, it's the difference between a signal you can trust and a data gap you have to explain.
